What the readiness screen preserves
Commissioning is a sequence of plans, evidence, tests, findings, reruns and operational handoffs—not a percentage badge. This educational capstone keeps fourteen entered gates separate across seven visible stages: basis and test plan, factory evidence, installation and prefunctional checks, functional tests, integrated systems tests, findings and controls, then handover and operations. An outside-entered boundary is never averaged away by completed activities elsewhere.
Three presets demonstrate a compressed handover, an evidence-led sequence and a phased turnover. Every artifact state, test count, duration and commercial value is illustrative. “Entered evidenced” means only that the learner declares an artifact present. The model does not inspect its author, quality, witness record, completeness, approval or relevance. Planned remains a dependency, critical-open remains outside the entered boundary and a blank optional input remains unknown.

Coverage, findings and controls
Prefunctional completion, functional modes and integrated scenarios each compare an entered completed or executed count with an entered planned count. A positive plan is required before coverage is evaluated. Reaching the count does not prove that scripts were adequate, witnessed, passed or representative. The timeline inherits the strictest connected gate state so an unresolved installation artifact cannot disappear behind a completed checklist count.
Critical finding closure is its own hold gate. Major and minor finding counts remain visible context because a generic model cannot invent project acceptance rules or residual-risk authority. Controls and alarm mapping compares an entered mapped percentage with an entered requirement, but it does not validate point names, alarming, trends, sequences, field devices, cybersecurity or operator routing. The predictable precedence is outside-entered, then unknown, then dependency, then entered boundaries clear. A predict-and-reveal exercise explains that rule without points, grading or a commissioned badge.
Operations handover and deterministic reruns
Procedures, training, spares and support, monitoring baseline and turnover records remain independent evidence states. One cannot substitute for another. A complete record set does not prove that people can execute a procedure, that a spare is suitable, or that monitoring supports a safe response. The entered base duration is compared with an entered handover window; no critical-path network, crew availability or construction logic is inferred.
A learner can apply one deterministic condition at a time: functional retest, integrated retest, controls remap or critical-finding hold. The matching gate changes and the entered delay is added to the base plan. The event is not a probability or forecast. An event-cost consequence appears only when both an entered cost per delay day and an entered retest cost are present. Units remain currency-neutral, and the model supplies no market rate, escalation, contract clause or regional assumption.
Dossier and professional boundary

They contain no score, approval, acceptance, certification or recommendation.
This screen is not a commissioning specification, factory or site acceptance procedure, functional test script, integrated systems test plan, punch-list authority, safe-to-operate decision, training record, turnover certificate or authority submission. Real commissioning needs the approved project basis, coordinated system boundaries, competent test authors, named witnesses and authorities, controlled procedures, actual field evidence, issue governance and project-specific acceptance criteria.
