PWR-02 · Power path · review-required
A/B rack feeds
Two rack feeds help only when the upstream paths and the load itself preserve the intended independence.
How it works
Feed dual-corded equipment from separately protected paths, or use an appropriate transfer strategy for single-corded loads.
Where it fits
Loads whose service objective justifies path diversity and coordinated operations.
Where it breaks
Both labels ultimately depend on the same unexamined switchboard, controls, fuel system or maintenance window.
Tradeoff register
- Supports concurrent work on one path
- Adds capital and operational complexity
- Common-mode failures can defeat apparent diversity
Interactive teaching model
This card connects to the power lab. Its output is a bounded calculation or an illustrative directional model, not measured site data or a commissioned design result.
